Features and Benefits
Carbide-tips cuts faster than high speed steel. The carbide tip is brazed onto the steel head of a shank. It is commonly used on ferrous and nonferrous metals including cast iron, steel and steel alloys.
Morse taper shanks securely attach the tool to the machine spindle. The part is held in place by friction of the tapered shank against the hollow spindle holding the tool. They have a smaller diameter than straight shanks.
Straight flutes are used to produce straighter side walls, but offer less chip removal than spiral flutes.
